RCIA - RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS

This is for adults who would like to learn more about the Catholic Faith and are considering joining the Church. This is not a commitment to become Roman Catholic, only a learning experience and that decision is made in the Spring, before the Easter Vigil. If you know someone who would be interested, please pass this information on to them. Call the office, 660-646-0190, for more information.

PARISHIONER REGISTRATION
This is a reminder that to be an active parishioner you really need to be registered in the parish. Many parish groups use the roster to ask for volunteer help and it helps the priest when he is called to make sick calls or when asked to administer a sacrament if the person/family is on the parish rolls. The diocese also asks us to send in our Spirituality report. This report uses the information contained in it for statistical purposes. Among the questions asked are number of parishioners, number attending Mass, number of baptisms, marriages, Confirmations, deaths, etc. It is safe to say that if you are not receiving a packet of envelopes in the mail or if you did not receive the Fall Festival raffle tickets in the mail, you are not registered. If this is the case and you would like to be counted as a fully active parishioner, please contact the parish office. You can also fill out the slip on the back of the bulletin and drop it in the collection basket to have a registration form sent to you, or you can simply download and fill out the registration form by following the link above.
