BLUE ARMY - WORLD APOSTOLATE OF FATIMA

The prayer cell meets every Wednesday after 8:15 am Mass in the church to pray the rosary. All are invited. The World Apostolate of Fatima is an international Public Association of the Faithful under the Pontifical Council of the Laity. Members strive to live the Fatima Message. How to live the Fatima Message: Offer up your daily sacrifices for the conversion of sinners (Morning Offering). Pray the Rosary every day. Consecrate yourself to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Wear the Brown Scapular as a sign of your consecration. Practice the Five First Saturday Communion of Reparation.

CHOIR & MUSIC MINISTRY

We have a great group of dedicated singers who are generously lending their voices to the enhancement of the liturgy. If you would like to add your voice to the group, they rehearse every other Tuesday at 6:45pm in the choir loft and sing at the 10am mass every Sunday. Obviously, we understand that one isn't able to make it to every practice, but the more practices that you can attend, the more the group will be able to do.

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS

The Knights of Columbus meet on the first Monday of each month at the Knights Hall at 7pm. Carry-in dinners are held as announced with the Ladies Auxiliary on select first Mondays with the dinner beginning at 6:30pm and meetings to follow.

 

KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS GOLF TOURNAMENT
Held each June at the Green Hills Golf Course in Chillicothe, Missouri. The Calcutta is held the Friday before at 8:00 pm in the K of C Hall. If interested in having a team, see Joe Timmons, Kevin Goad, Kevin Jeschke, or call the church office at 660-646-0190.

 

KNIGHTS HALL RENTAL FEES: $275 for evening and $80 for afternoon rentals (located at 919 Easton Street, Chillicothe, Missouri)

ST. ANN'S ALTAR SOCIETY

The St. Ann's Altar Society normally meets every 2nd Thursday of each month at 10am in the Knights Hall. All ladies of the parish are invited to join this group.

SALAD LUNCHEON (ALTAR SOCIETY)
The annual salad luncheon is held in June each year in the Bishop Hogan gym.

This is their only fund raiser of the year. Proceeds are used to buy liturgical supplies for the church, such as hosts, wine, altar candles, vestments, and sacred vessels. Without the donations and support from our entire parish, the salad luncheon would not be a success.

FUNERAL DINNERS (ALTAR SOCIETY)
For years, the Altar Society has taken the responsibility to prepare the Funeral Dinners for the parish. In early 2022 alone, the ladies prepared over 300 meals. We are in need of additional help! Our sympathy is for the ones who have lost loved ones. May they Rest in Peace. Thanks for all the generous memorials and donations toward our Bereavement Expenses. Thanks also to all who have brought food and helped serve. There's a sign-up sheet in the back of church for additional volunteers, food, and donations.
